Born October 5th, 1974.

Adi Heusser studied architecture at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio & the ETH Zurich in the studios of Prof.Peter Zumthor & Adam Caruso / Peter St.John.

From 1999 TO 2000 and all the way through his studies he worked for UNDEND Architects in Zurich on various projects and competitions.

After the diploma in 2004 he worked IN LONDON as a project architect for Rundell Associates and Duggan Morris Architects until 2006.

BACK IN Zurich he worked for E2 Architects and was responsible for the construction of the Zentrum für Gehör und Sprache in Wollishofen.

In 2007 he opened ILAI LLC with Iela Herrling.

From 2015 TO 2016 he was PROJECT LEADER FOR the pavillon of reflections MANIFESTA 11 ON LAKE ZURICH, BUILT BY students of prof. emerson AT the eth zurich.

Iela Herrling studied architecture at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio & the East London University in the studios of Prof. Peter Zumthor, Adam Caruso / Peter St.John and Aires Mateus.

After the diploma in 2004 she worked for Herzog & de Meuron Architects in London and Basel as a project / team leader on various projects and competitions and was responsible for the MONOGRAPH VolIUME 4 “Complete Works 1997 - 2001” until 2008.

In 2007 she opened ILAI LLC with Adi Heusser.

From 2009 TO 2012 she was teaching as a degree studio leader at the ETH Zurich for Prof. Christian Kerez and JOINED THE TEACHING TEAM oF PROF. TOM EMERSON FROM 2012 to 2018.
